Notes - Rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Bonazzoli during the 2002 Under 21 European Championships held in Switzerland. As the reigning champions the Italy side were much fancied pre tournament, and qualified in style after victory over England and a draw with Portugal in the Group Stage. A repeat of the Pirlo-inspired earlier form however was not to be, as despite coming from 2 goals down in the Semi-Final against Czech Republic Claudio Gentile's men lost out to a golden goal. Bonazzoli did not appear in this tournament though went on to appear 17 times for Italy U-21s. The Italian striker largely spent time playing for Brescia, Parma, Reggina and Sampdoria, and played for 14 different clubs at senior level.
